Deep Qualitative
Research

Human experiences for Positive Change

The problem: Given the ever-changing nature of the climate crisis, we need immersive and exploratory methods to deepen our understanding of the levers of change in real time and in real settings. We need robust research but we also need to act at the pace of climate change.

The solution: The crucial role of qualitative research in environmental psychology has been highlighted by key experts in the field.

At Repsychable, we specialise in qualitative research which is scientifically robust but which is delivered in an efficient time frame. Our aim is to understand the psychology behind our thoughts, feelings and actions, to help develop targeted strategies for promoting positive change and fostering sustainable and pro-environmental behaviours.

How we can help?

How we can help?

We conduct deep qualitative research to understand how individuals and groups interact with and impact their environments, identifying key factors that shape behaviour and decision-making. Our methodology draws from a combination of:

  • Individual interviews
  • Dyads
  • Triads
  • Mini-focus groups, focus groups
  • Online communities
  • Observations
  • Walkalongs
  • Other bespoke methodologies

Delivering Impact

We interpret the findings of our research using a second layer of analysis to move beyond what is said at a descriptive level to a more interpretative level. During our analysis we uncover meaningful insights by leveraging robust theoretical frameworks from environmental psychology.

TESTIMONIAL

"The moment Christine told me she was moving on to specialise in Environmental Psychology, I knew it was the right thing for her. She is an expert qual researcher with a passion for sustainability, so it was the next logical step to combine the two. Environmental Psychology plus her qualitative expertise means she now has a specialist offering at a time when this is needed more than ever. She is great at collaborating with others and understanding their needs and I’d have no hesitation recommending Christine”
